GoBeyond awards a startup that has translated an innovative idea into a practical industrial solution with direct impact on the agri-food supply chain. Agree NET wins the €50,000 equity-free grant, standing out among hundreds of submissions thanks to a technology designed to reduce waste along the fresh-produce value chain.
Up to 40% of fresh fruit and vegetables are discarded before consumption due to spoilage caused by mould and bacteria. This results in losses for producers and distributors and inefficient use of water and agricultural resources.
Agree NET aims to address this inefficiency. Its solution, PìFresc®, is a biodegradable active device that integrates into food packaging without requiring changes to industrial processes. Made from biopolymers and natural extracts, it gradually releases antimicrobial substances that slow the proliferation of mould and bacteria, extending shelf-life by up to +25 days on products such as grapes, blueberries and cherries.
With more than 350 applications this year, the Jury recognised PìFresc® as a concrete, measurable and scalable innovation with the potential to significantly reduce waste and environmental impact at industrial level.
In addition to the grant, Agree NET receives:
- Advisory program with GoBeyond Partners in 2026
- Mamacrowd Special Mention – 10% discount on equity crowdfunding success fee
- Access to Alkemy workspaces (Milan, Rome, Turin) from January to June 2026
